Rexba Limited is a modern and dynamic boutique investment company in Uganda that manages the private investments of His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda. The company was incorporated in 1995 and we represent the traditional investment practices of discretion, strength, reliability and performance to unlock value.
Rexba Ltd is currently engaged in three primary business areas: Procurement and Supplies Management, as well as Real Estate and Property Management. In addition to operating under the Rexba Ltd name, the company’s business activities are also carried out under three separate brand identities:

Executive summary
The five-year business plan has been developed to provide strategic direction to Rexba Ltd board, management and other stakeholders. The plan runs from January 2023 to December 2027. Country analysis and market analysis were done mainly based on the Rexba’s 27 years’ experience in Uganda. Primary and secondary data were used to understand the opportunities, scope, risks and viability of operating different businesses in Uganda. The key milestone for this strategic plan is securing the strategic partners/investors. This will provide impetus needed to achieve this strategic plan. A stable political outlook coupled with available demand make the country very favourable to Rexba’s operations. With availability of funding, all Rexba’s business lines have high potential.

2) Design innovative solutions for enhanced brand awareness, customer attraction and market share
3) Strengthen Rexba’s Institutional operations for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness and resilience
In this strategic plan, the drivers to achieve growth and profitability will include activities focused on business growth, improving productivity, development and retention of staff, maintaining profitable portfolios, improvement of internal systems and controls. The plan includes fully operationalising all business lines, review of the investment strategy and continuous evaluation of institutional performance to ensure value for the shareholders.
To achieve the strategic objectives above, a number strategic initiatives, activities with clear result areas and performance indicators.
Funding
The substantial progress attained has been mainly funded through equity, retained earnings, and debt. Rexba Ltd intends to dilute its shareholding in the subsidiaries in order to raise capital to fully operationalise them. Management plans to pursue an aggressive strategy of funding which will mainly involve joint ventures, leasing, retained earnings and equity. The process of identifying the required funding is ongoing.
Projected performance
This strategic plan intends to turn around the institution into a project venture by end of FY2025. The slow turn- around is mainly due to the fact that there will be periods for construction works where some revenue sources shall be constrained.
